Seeing Stars
by Patricia Shepherd

For the week beginning 14 July

Full Moon at 26 Capricorn 04 on 18th July, at 6 pm

CANCER
The planetary alignments bring an opportunity for change this week that has everything to do with your relationships. The Full Moon on Friday falling in this sector of your chart illuminates the possibility of a shift in gears to this area. Make the effort.

LEO
Venus in your sign for the next three weeks or so has you placing much more emphasis not only on your personal appearance but also enhances your natural ability to mix and socialise. Use it to good effect.

VIRGO
Mercury moving into your solar Eleventh House and on pleasant speaking terms with Saturn and Mars gives a great boost to your confidence so take the initiative and present your case. The details are there.

LIBRA
Those in authority are looking on you favourably at the moment so career opportunities may arise. This may not be a permanent situation but you will be seen in a good light and your contribution remembered.

SCORPIO
The advice of someone older and more experienced may be of service to you this week. Whether this is on the job or through an informal discussion with friends, you are able to use it to good effect.

SAGITTARIUS
Venus makes her annual visit to your solar Ninth House of travel, study and worldview and is looking to increase her experience.  A holiday may be on the agenda, so too employment negotiations.

CAPRICORN
The Full Moon in your sign on Friday may not only illuminate your spiritual tasks but also your shadow side. Look to your defences – are they adequate enough or too well defended.

AQUARIUS
Venus moving into your opposite sign of Leo shows a readiness and a wanting to socialise more with your partner or with those nearest and dearest. It’s company you want and it is company you will go looking for.

PISCES
Spontaneity is the name of the game for our Fish this week. This is no time for routine but rather take advantage of those spur of the moment happenings that makes you thank the stars that you are alive.

ARIES
Home and family seem to take up much of your time and thoughts this week, particularly with those male members. Not that you actually mind the seemingly the day-to-day negotiations, as a great deal is being accomplished.

TAURUS
The next few weeks has our Taureans happy and content spending many quiet hours at home. It won’t take much to get them out of the groove though, throwing on an apron and preparing for some lavish entertainment.

GEMINI
Mercury’s movement into Cancer has you thinking of money making schemes that can make you more financially secure. If you are an arts and craftsy type of person give some thought to taking up a hobby or gaining money from a hobby.

Full Moon at 26 Capricorn 04 on 18th July, at 6 pm AEST

What began two weeks ago on the New Moon is now ready for a closer scrutiny. Your efforts are ready to flower or, not having passed your perusal, discarded.

This Full Moon highlights Cancer and Capricorn and the natural opposition of the elements Water and Earth. Cancer represents the archetype of the Mother who not only bears life but also nourishes and protects. As Full Moons illuminate the shadow side of each sign, as well as the spiritual tasks if you continue to feel emotionally deprived and undernourished the less effectively you will function.

Scrutinise those emotional needs that hinder your self-sufficiency and self-control whilst also learning how to nourish yourself. As you gain more satisfaction from your personal life you become less driven to substitute success for emotional satisfaction or deprivation.

Sabian Symbol for 27 degrees Cancer
A violent storm in a canyon filled with expensive homes.

27 degrees Capricorn
Pilgrims climbing the steep steps leading to a mountain shrine.
