Engadine’s Fisher leads and Illawong’s Gadd makes two tons in junior cricket
After two and a half rounds of Sutherland Shire junior cricket, Engadine Dragons 14A batsman Dane Fisher is the top scorer with 150 not out. Another 10 batsmen have also scored tons so far, including Illawong Menai 16D’s Clayton Gadd who already has two centuries for the season.

Joseph Chessman of St Patrick’s 16A has opened his season well taking 5 wickets for 8 runs against Como Jannali in the first round of Sutherland Shire junior cricket. Another six bowlers have also taken 5 wickets in an innings in the first two and a half rounds.

Sutherland’s Lauren Miletich makes NSW cricket team
Local SSJCA junior, Lauren Miletich, has been selected in the NSW U/18 Female City team to play Country. The team will play Country on November 12 and 13 at Blacktown Olympic Park for the Maree Lee trophy.
Lauren played 7 seasons with Illawong finishing with the 08/09 14A Premiers, only leaving to play Grade with the St George-Sutherland Slayers.
